A zingy, lemon citrus Sancerre, sourced from Sauvignon Blanc vines planted in terres blanches and caillottes soils. Soft floral and mineral nose, smooth and mouthcoating with bright lime, green herb and mineral flavours vibrant on the palate. Yes, a goat cheese and arugula salad topped with grilled shrimp, please!

Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This gem opens with a subtle but complex nose of sweet papaya, herbs and wafts of mint. Mouth- watering and juicy -the palate is silky and all herbs. Beautiful balance. This is like a velvet hammer - subtle and restrained but ultimately powerful from nose to finish. I would love to try it with leg of lamb with mint sauce! Tasted April 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Leads with lemon and fresh cut grass before subtle pineapple and tropical fruits show through. There's a gentle note of butter in the bouquet as well. Extra dry and crisp with mouthwatering acidity. Delicate flavours of white peach and pineapple on the palate, with more peach on the finish, as well as pleasant minerality. Sourced from vines grown in two soils: terres blanches for texture, and caillottes for aromatics. A charming combination for a layered wine. Go classic: shellfish or Loire goat cheese.
From Roger & Didier Raimbault this is a zingy, lemon citrus Sancerre from different parcels of two soil types: "terres blanches" and "caillottes. There is a lovely silky smooth mouth feel on this wine with a backdrop of lime zest, fresh pear, herb flavours and mineral notes on the palate. Bracing acidity for food. Pair it with salads topped with herbed goat cheese. - Community Wine Reviews
