Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Rodney Strong was one of the pioneers to make Pinot Noir in the Russian River Valley. This is a good value Pinot Noir with typical notes of beet, cherry and plum. A touch of smoke and leather from 13 months in french oak. Smooth tannins and a good balance of acidity. Paired with smoked salmon and bbq'd chicken during a May long weekend family bbq. Tasted May 22, 2016.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of currents and floral notes with cherry, cola and ripe plum on the palate. Finishes softly with lingering flavor.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
