This luxurious Californian white wine features green apple aromas wrapped in toasted almond. Nice balance. Finishes with vibrant lemon and baking spices. Nice kick of butterscotch and toffee from oak aging. Full-bodied and layered. This would be an interesting pairing with roast veal.

Chardonnay food pairings: grilled lobster tail, pork, turkey burgers, beef bourguignon, linguini with clams and fennel.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A great Chardonnay with a nose showing tropical pineapple, vanilla, citrus, oak, followed by a tropical fruit palate plus coconut .A juicy rich mouthfeel and a long tropical citrus finish.
This Californian Chardonnay was barrel fermented and displays the associated smoky toasty character. Solid value. - Community Wine Reviews
