Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

This wine has reached classic quality. It has all the hallmarks of a traditionalist Rioja, with a touch of funky flair. There’s dried black fruit, tobacco, liquorice root, and herbs, but also lively notes of plum skin, sarsaparilla, cola and fresh, ripe mulberry. This wine is stacked. 95 Points.
Roda Reserva 2012 is often referred to “the Grand Cru of Rioja”. Fruit from each of its 17 vineyards is vinified separately and spends a year in barrel before the winemaker decides what avenue to take with the wine. Roda Reserva is produced from 100% Tempranillo from vines that are between 30 and 80 years of age. Wine grapes are organically grown and the wine is aged in French and is unfiltered and unfined. Look for ripe, dark fruit and cake spice on this vintage. Drinking well now. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
