Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

An outstanding value here in this Chardonnay. Citrusy notes of lemon and orange float above toasty, nutty and smoky notes. It has a silky, smooth mouthfeel with lots of lemon and orange toasty notes. Well balanced and elegant. Savour with herbed Cornish hen. Tasted October 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A white Burgundy, this aged medium-yellow Chardonnay presents with mineral, woody aromas. It's dry with medium-acidity on the palate and ends with a crisp, salty finish. Pair with seafood or fish tacos.
From Roche De Bellene La Roche Vineuse 2015 Chardonnay is a great value Mâcon from the Burgundy wine region produced by Nicolas Potel. Grapes are source from vines over 40 years of age. Love the fragrant white florals, flinty mineral nose on this flavoursome, toasty and zesty white. Chill and enjoy with seafood dishes. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
