Ricasoli's Brolio Chianti Classico from Tuscany is a vibrant, medium-bodied red wine blending Sangiovese and Colorino with notes of wild strawberry, pomegranate, dried cranberry and iron. This dry wine displays silky tannins and zesty balance that will continue to develop over the next six years. Serve it slightly below room temperature with veal parmigiana as the wine's bright acidity cuts through the melted cheese and tomato sauce, or pair it with spaghetti and meatballs where the wine's red fruit complements the classic Italian-American dish. Winemaker Massimiliano Biagi crafts this elegant Chianti from the historic Brolio estate, where the Ricasoli family has been producing wine since 1141, making it one of Tuscany's oldest continuously operating wineries. Baron Bettino Ricasoli is credited with establishing the modern Chianti blend formula in the 19th century, cementing the family's legacy as pioneers of Tuscan winemaking. This mouthwatering, aromatic Chianti represents excellent quality and will drink beautifully through 2032.

Chianti Classico food pairings: veal chops, chicken parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs.
