Smoky and dark with toasty oak on the nose. This delicious, full-bodied red wine has attractive black fruit flavours on the palate with a good grip. Terrific BBQ wine. Excellent price for this quality.

Tempranillo food pairings: planked lamb, roast of goat.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An opaque dark purple red wine made from hand-harvested grapes, which results in optimal fruit flavours. On the nose, ripe blackberry, dark cherry and raspberry, with oak and vanilla. The palate repeats these and adds leather. Soft tannins and well-balanced. Medium mellow red berry finish. Great with salty appetizers such as olives or Serrano Ham, yummy with pork chops or lamb.
Saturated in dark red and black colour and fruit. Polished, smooth and peppered. - Community Wine Reviews
