A towering, blockbuster Italian red wine. Rich black cherry liqueur and dark spice aromas with layers of full-bodied goodness on the palate. A long, lasting finish. In 2012, founder Giuseppe Quintarelli died at the age of 84. His legacy lives on though, especially in the Quintarelli. Taste to see what a decade of patience yields in the glass. Benchmark Veneto red wine. Pair with prime rib.

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Outstanding - complex, smooth tannins, mouth-watering, full-bodied - garnet in the glass with red fruit, roses, chocolate, prune, herbs, and spices, the intense flavours last on the long savoury, elegant finish.
Enjoy on its own or pair with lamb. This wine should be decanted as sediment will have precipitated.
Drink now or cellar through 2015.
Date tasted: November 2014.
A huge Italian red wine blend meant for hearty meat dishes and conversation. - Community Wine Reviews
