A superb Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) from the 2011 vintage, which was bottled in 2015 and is a luxurious blend of 35% Touriga Nacional, 35% Tinta Roriz and 30% Touriga Franca grapes. Lots of rich aromas and flavours of blackberry liqueur and dark spice. Perfect for Black Forest Cake.

Port food pairings: cherry cheesecake, dark chocolate nibs, blue cheeses.

Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Yummy notes of date and fig, as well as black cherry, leather, chocolate and tobacco. It has a rich, round texture and the sweetness is well balanced and not overpowering. Fantastic with tiramisu!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
