Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark cherry, smoke and leather, with a dried herb note and a bit of an earthy hint. Medium bodied, with medium+ acidity, and soft, drying tannins. Dark and ripe fruit notes with more earthy and herbaceous hints and a leather and smoke note on the finish. Enjoy with pan seared duck or any mushroom dishes.
Quentin Jeannot 2018 Pinot Noir is produced from old vines Pinot Noir from three vineyard parcels averaging 50 years of age. Smoky on the nose with bright red fruit, black cherry, raspberry and toasty oak spice aromas. Matured in French oak barrels 20% new oak; 60% one-year use and 20% two-to-three year old barrels. Lots of food-friendly acidity harmoniously balanced with rich, black cherry, raspberry, savoury herb, black tea and smoky, toasty oak spice flavours on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
