Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This chardonnay from small volume producer Queenston Mile Vineyard is rich, elegant, complex and flavourful. Medium bodied and skillfully crafted so that its oak and lees elements collaborate rather than overwhelm the fruit. Aromas of vanilla and blossom infused butter are captivating while flavours of white orchard fruit, citrus pastries and vanilla rule the palate before introducing a long, satisfying finish. Enjoy.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of creamy lemon, golden apple, and a hint of honey and toffee. Fermented and aged in French oak barriques for 12 months, this wine has a lovely creamy texture on the palate, full bodied and medium acidity, with golden, ripe fruit and a slightly honeyed finish. Enjoy with a creamy lobster pasta.
From St. David's Bench, Niagara-On-The-Lake wine region, Queenston Mile 2017 Chardonnay is barrel-fermented and estate bottled. From a typically warm and sunny vineyard with great exposure. Look for ripe golden apple, lemon curd, baked apple pie, butterscotch and sweet spice flavours on this toasty, rich Chard. - Community Wine Reviews
