Chardonnay food pairings: turkey burgers, crab cakes, chicken breast, lobster in butter sauce, cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A rich Chardonnay from Okanagan Valley, BC. Yummy guava, butterscotch and buttered toast on the nose, followed by apple, light tropical guava, pineapple, butterscotch, toast on the creamy palate. Very smooth with a lingering butterscotch finish. Versatile with many foods, from roast turkey to crab legs or scallops in creamy tarragon sauce.
Tasted Feb. 2017
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Bright pale yellow straw in colour, this Okanagan Valley Chardonnay expresses mild buttery notes and a biscotti aroma, followed by red apples, pears, and tangerine peels. The palate feels soft but not creamy, dry but not woody, and the vibrant acidity ends on a medium to long juicy fruit finish. This is can be a ‘go-to’ wine with cellaring potential. Pair with herb and lemon chicken, pasta Alfreda, or soft creamy cheeses. Score 90. (S.Segard, reviewed Mar. 02, 2017)
