A robust, complex and layered BC red wine made from a Cabernet Sauvignon grape. Wild blackberry, spice and smoke on the nose. This will improve with some cellar time. Decant 1-2 hours and pair with grilled meats.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: cocoa and black pepper rubbed beef tenderloin or leg of lamb..

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous! Deeply concentrated, great complexity with layers of flavours and an approachable palate. Big minerality, big dark fruit, blackberry, anise, black sage, savoury, medium plus tannins, medium acidity, well integrated alcohol. Paired well with braised beef tacos. Tasted 2015 vintage in Oct 2017. BespokeTastings
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Phenomenal! A rich robust gamey smoky-okay and spice forward Cabernet. Lovely layered dark chocolate, black plum, allspice, tobacco and smoked meat notes. A delicious full-bodied, well-structured Cabernet Sauvignon with excellent ageing potential (5+ years). If enjoying now, pair with smoked brisket. Tasted Oct 2017 by @sommsosa

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
