Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A dark garnet red Malbec with slow legs and a mild nose of ripe dark plums. The palate shows Damson plums, baking spice and vanilla. Fullbodied with a plummy finish.
Produced by Baron Edmond de Rothschild, Flechas de los Andes, "Punta de Flechas" means "the spike of arrows" and refers to the 5 arrows in the emblem of the Rothschild family symbolizing the 5 brothers at the start of their dynasty. This wine is made from of selection of Malbec grapes grown in the foothills of the Andes Mountains at 1100 feet above sea level. One-third of the wine was aged for 10 months in oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
