Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Smooth and full flavoured! Aromas of ripe cherry, strawberry, leather, earth, and smoke. Medium to full bodied, tart and fruity on the palate, with nice cherry, leather, and smoke on the palate. Bright acidity and a lengthy finish. Pair with lamb, pork, chicken, or mushroom dishes. Enjoy!
Brent Gushowaty rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The wine is pale with a ruby rim. It shows some good intensity on the nose that displays dark red and black fruits. On the palate, again fruit on the darker red side with some hints of black fruit along with pomegranate molasses. The wine has an excellent balance and good length in the finish. Relatively simple and fruit driven at this point it should improve with age.The grapes here were from the Lake Country, Naramata and the Rise Vineyard in Vernon. The wine was aged in French oak for 18 months. 487 cases produced. The winemaker is John Woodward
