Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely and rich, with aromas of blueberry, violets, a hint of dried raisin and some smoke notes. Medium bodied, with rounded dark berry flavours, soft, with a touch of a rich dried berry and smoke hint on the palate. Enjoy with strong cheeses.
Available directly from the winery with direct shipping to your address.
Potter Settlement 2017 Marquette is produced from the winter-hardy, pest and disease resistant Marquette grape. Marquette is a hybrid grape created by Peter Hemstad and James Luby, that was crossed in 1989 and introduced in 2006 by the University of Minnesota . The grape is a 'complex hybrid grape' meaning that it has more than two different species in it lineage, and In fact, it has eight. A portion of this wine (10%) was aged in American oak barrels with the balanced in stainless-steel tanks. Fragrant with ripe red berry, cherry, mocha, earthy notes and sweet spice flavours, the wine is dry, medium-bodied and silky on the palate balanced with great acidity for food. Pour with roast duck, tourtiere or lamburgers. - Community Wine Reviews
