Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark berry and plums, with lots of smoke and spice. Full bodied, with soft tannins, and lots of ripe berry flavours on the palate, along with a smoky finish. Enjoy with grilled sausages or pork.
From the Boekenhoutskloof Winery, Porcupine Ridge Syrah is excellent value under $16. Robust and smooth with dark berry, plums, smoky and spicy on the palate. Enjoy with grilled game sausages or bison burgers. Porcupine Ridge is so name for the crested porcupines that live in this region. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
