Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An intriguing Sicilian red blend of Nero D'Avola and international varietals showcasing moderate floral, spice, and cherry notes. Enjoy this juicy light-bodied red with veal parmigiana. Tasted Sept 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Rich, smooth and lovely med-full bodied Sicilian wine. A blend, but main grape is Nero d'avola. Plenty of dark fruit flavours with hints of smoke, white pepper and some earthiness. Easy tannins with lively acidity. Would hold up well to BBQ'd meats or charcuterie. Incredible value for money.
Planeta La Segretta (2014) is a Nero d'Avola, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc red wine blend from Sicily. The wine is a mouthful of fresh cherries, spicy, peppery with an equal amount of grippy, chewy tannins. Lots of character on this great value wine. - Community Wine Reviews
