A terrific French sparkling wine from a vaunted Champagne producer. Youthful and fresh, a blend of 52% Pinot Noir and 48% Chardonnay wine grapes. Fresh and lively with bright apple, red berry and toasty flavours delivered on a lacy, persistent mousse. Chill and enjoy now and for the next 10 years. Pair with all things shellfish.
Champagne food pairings: lightly spiced vegetarian curry dishes, white turkey meat, fish tacos, seafood.

I’m always a fan of the regular NV Piper- Heidsieck but this 2012 vintage is quite sensational. And great value at $79.95. A blend of 52% Pinot Noir for mouthfilling richness and 48% Chardonnay for clean lemony notes, it’s a complete stunner without heaviness but beautiful intensity and length. I recommend tuna tartare with wasabi cream and watercress. @wrightwineblog

A lovely shade of light lemon yellow. Intense autolytic notes, more biscuit and toast than dough. Mild oxidative stylings with a hint of bruised green apple mingling with fresh green apple and lemon. Extra dry with intense and racy acidity. Full, rich, and complex on the palate with spectacular interplay of all elements in harmony. Quite a treat solo, and I imagine even better when served alongside smoked salmon or Brie/triple cream cheeses.

A personal favourite, this Champagne is a perfect accompaniment to special occasions- celebration sipping or with hors d'oeuvres. A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the acidity is medium and smooth, leading to a nutty finish. Versatile with a variety of light-fared foods.
