Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Meaty nose with notes of ripe berry fruit, plum, cedar and an intense candied cinnamon note. The palate is dry with a moderate flavour profile, moderate acidity, young grippy tannins and a long bitter chocolate finish. Enjoy this medium-bodied wine with a gamey stew. Tasted Aug 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Ruby red and lush with red fruit, baking spice, and smoked meat aromatics. Medium bodied, medium tannins, with ripe red fruit, with hints of anise and cinnamon on the palate. Tasted August 2016 , @jonsteeves rated 86/100.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
