Love the rich, honeyed essence of this late harvest Tokaj. The grapes for this wine are affected by botrytis, the good kind of rot that dehydrates them and concentrates their flavours while on the vine. This dessert wine is created by a traditional method of winemaking, but without skin contact or aging in barrels as is usually done. This creates a fresh, more lively style of Tokaj.

Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Aromas of brandied apricots, maple toffee and baked graham crust carry through on the palate with a small hit of apple acidity on the back-end, and a long apricot finish. Perfect with creme brule, graham crust desserts or simply as dessert itself!
Beautiful dessert in a glass! Or pair this wine redolent of peach preserves and honey jam with cheeses, nuts, biscotti or angel cake. Yes please! - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
