Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Suggestions of candied dark fruit with sweet vanilla and oak spice. Not overdone with coffee or cocoa as some examples are pleasant surprise. Also surprising was the grip as the tannins are initially firm, but do relax and do not demand big protein in order to enjoy the wine. Enough acidity to keep it food friendly. Easy drinking and accessible while offering good value. Drink all summer long with pork sausage, BBQ ribs, or roast chicken and vegetables.
From the Swartland wine region, Painted wolf, Guillermo 2014 is a full-bodied Pinotage with smoky vanilla and dark fruit flavours on the palate. This is one of three red wines from the pack offering in the Painted Wolf Series, this one produced from organic Pinotage wine grapes from Billy Hughe's vineyard. Enjoy with a grilled game steak. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
