A balanced, full-bodied, supple Niagara red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Terrific price for this quality. This wine is owned by Shark Tank/Dragon's Den Kevin O'Leary and made by the respected Vineland Estates Winery. Aromas of dark fruit and toasty oak. Pair with hearty meat dishes and your next pitch to the dragons (or sharks).

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Juicy and fruity. Red plum, cherry, cooked and stewed strawberries with soft touches of vanilla. licorice and anise. Interesting blend, with lingering tobacco infused cigar box notes. Flavours show blackberries, prune, dark cherry, and soft oak touches. Medium acidity, body and finish. A nice complement to charcuterie, apps or on its own with friends. 88 points

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
