A full-bodied BC Pinot Noir with generous aromas of fleshy ripe black cherry and smoke. Even though the alcohol is high at 14.3%, this wine is balanced and tastes elegant. Velvet smooth mouth-feel and texture. Only 120 cases produced. Pair with veal.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Only produced in exceptional years, the King's Ransom wines from Noble Ridge are truly exceptional. This amazing Pinot Noir shows aromas of leather, warm spice, cherry, strawberry, and some earthy notes. Full bodied, with firm tannins and bright acidity. This Pinot punches above its weight class for sure, as it's body, complexity, and flavour are all above and beyond what I expected. The alcohol is a slightly high 14.3%, and the warmth is felt, but it's not a distraction and is overall quite balanced. Overall, very delicious! Enjoy with any rich meat such as lamb, or veal, beef tartare, or mushroom dishes.
