Loads of mocha and dark from long, long oak aging. Some black fruit peeps out from underneath. Smooth and full-bodied. Pair with hearty meat dishes.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: Margherita pizza, lamb Bolognese, beef enchiladas, hard cheese, braised pork shanks with white beans.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Here's a good reason to try out British Columbia's wines. A yummy nose with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and slight mint, then a palate with more ripe berry fruit, mint, a touch of eucalyptus, vanilla and green pepper. Full-bodied, velvety mouthfeel and long strawberry finish, Delicious, a wine to share or for a gift.
The BC red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes features lots of oak on the nose with dark chocolate espresso-coffee. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
