Very viscous rich and full-bodied for Pinot Grigio, supported by high alcohol at 14.5. Yet, this is balanced and tasty with aromas of Asian pear and baking spices. Pair with rich seafood dishes and cream sauces.

Pinot Grigio food pairings: fried chicken, spring salads with fruit vinaigrettes, duck a l'orange.

Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A Pinot Grigio that has notes of minerality and sea salt as well as bruised apple, stone fruit and almond aromas. In terms of flavours, there is lots of citrus, especially lemon, and almond at the finish. This is a full bodied white wine with fresh acidity.

Tasted November 2017
From the Südtirol, Alto Adige wine region, Nals Margreid Punggl (2015) is a medium-plus bodied and bone-dry Pinot Grigio with fresh, crisp apple, pear and zesty lemon flavours finishing long. Pair with grilled seafood. - Community Wine Reviews
