Reviews and Ratings

Julian Park rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

43% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Franc and 19% Malbec and 14.3% alcohol. The Cabernet Franc and Malbec come from the Red Brick Vineyard managed by Chris Hansen in the South Okanagan and the Merlot from the Hiwanda vineyard in Naramata.

Aged in new, first-pass and neutral French oak for 24 Months with 390 cases produced. The wine was only bottled and released a month ago. Although the wine was a little colder than you would normally serve, it still had a fabulous blueberry and blackberry aroma with lovely floral notes. The wine has great fresh juiciness to the taste from the Malbec with smooth tannins and a soft palate feel from the extra ageing. Flavours of black cherry, plum and blackberry.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
