Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Points for typicity in this Amarone. Dried red grapes, fig, prune, raisinettes, violets and chocolate. Concentrated and dark. Abv is creeping up towards 16% but this Amarone didn't taste "hot." Lingering dried cherry and vanilla finish. Silky mouthfeel. As with the majority of Amarone's , I'd like to taste this in 10 years for fun! Red meat please but perhaps a roasted rack of lamb for Easter would be appropriate.
Tasted: February 2016
The 2010 vintage of this Amarone della Valpolicella is made using the Appassimento method of air-dried grapes. Lots of dark fruit and smoke. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
