Love this pretty, floral, vibrant Spanish rose from the heart of Rioja. Meant to be enjoyed in its youth. Robust dry Spanish rosé from one of the country's best-known producers. Aromas of tart strawberries and other red berries and some spice. Pair with roast chicken. This aromatic, fragrant rosé finishes with rose petal and spice. Pair with picnics, salmon and Thai dishes. Natalie MacLean rated this wine as 89/100.

Rosé food pairings: endive and ham in Moray (white) sauce, chicken a la king, tagliatelle with ham.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I've been following - and loving this rose for years now. This year is no different in terms of my affections but it has changed - slightly. Still possessing the soft berry and strawberry flavours that I love. The subtle difference is (if my memory is correct) is it is a touch dryer this year than previous. Moving toward the style of a Provence rose. A positive for many people.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Fresh and crisp. Aromas and flavours are dominated by strawberry and lemon notes. It's light-bodied, simple and refreshing. Tasted May 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Muga (2016) is a dry, bold Spanish rosé from one of the country's best-known producers. On the nose and palate, fragrant, ripe strawberries and red berries with a spicy, rose petal finish. The wine blend for this rosé is Tempranillo, Garnacha and Viura (a white grape). Great acidity on this wine to pair with colds turkey sandwiches and summer salads. - Community Wine Reviews
