Superb with a rich, toasty aroma cloud that fills the senses. Fresh baked bread aromas on the nose of this sparkling wine. This is a blend of 90% viura and 10% malvasia grapes for this D.O. cava. Terrific notes of green apple and lime fresh on the palate. Pretty amazing for the price. Try with oysters or clams.

Cava food pairings: turkey, shellfish, pasta, charcuterie, vegetarian casserole.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An elegant medium-bodied Brut Cava with toasty notes, apple and citrus rind aromatics. Apple, crushed almonds and toast on the rich palate with fine mousse and excellent texture. Remember this one to kick off Easter dinner or your next celebration. The beauty of Cava is that it works for toasting, as an aperitif or with dessert.
Tasted April 2017
This Cava from the Rioja wine region is produced from 90% Viura and 10% Malvasia white wine grapes. Muga's Conde De Haro (2013) is toasty on the nose and palate. This is a terrific bubble to have with oysters! Yum. Muga is one of few producers allowed to make Cava outside the region of Catalonia. - Community Wine Reviews
