From Waipara, South Island, Muddy Water Growers' Series 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is a weighty, dry, medium-bodied SB rich with ripe stone fruit, tropical fruit, soft orange citrus and fine herb flavours on the palate finishing on a briny mineral note. The wine was fermented in stainless-steel tanks to retain its full flavours and enticing aromas. Chill and enjoy with a seafood ceviche.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: herbed quiche, brunch dishes, pasta Primavera.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Vibrant aromas of tropical mango, papaya, and kiwi. Flavours are lively on the tongue with bright zesty citrus, green pepper, fresh sage and zesty limestone minerals. Mouthwatering acidity with pear and green apple on the finish. This will make a wonderful pairing with seared scallops or grilled chicken.
