Produced by Mt. Boucherie Winery, the fruit for the 2019 Pinot Gris is produced from the estate's Lazy River Vineyard in the Similkameen Valley. The wine is partially fermented on its skins giving it a pink grapefruit colour in the glass. Look for warm peach, melon, pink grapefruit and soft spicy aromas on the nose, lush, velvety and vibrant on the palate. Summer here I come!

Pinot Gris food pairings: grilled pork tenderloin, veal schnitzel, grilled chicken breasts.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A beautiful, delicate pink in the glass, aromas include white peach and pear, along with soft, spicy notes. On the palate, there is more weight than expected, with medium to full bodied, dry, with a smooth, creamy texture, lots of ripe, rich pear and peach notes, and that hint of warm baking spice on the finish. Enjoy with halibut, cod, or swordfish.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
