A gorgeous, smooth, robust BC Gamay Noir. Suprisingly high alcohol, though it doesn't taste warm or hot. Fleshy ripe cherries and blackberries with a lick of spice. Perfect for grilled meats.

Gamay Noir food pairings: Try a Planked Salmon with a Soy Glaze or Grilled Salmon with a Dijon Glaze. Roast Chicken with Herbs de Provence.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Wow. Big Gamay Noir. Uniquely Smokey, fruity, mouthwatering acidity and garnet colour. 14.2% ABV declared. Well balanced. Medium minus tannins. Earthy, underbrush, blackberry, cherry. Pair with bbq roast chicken or chipotle chicken tacos. Tasted 2016 vintage in Nov 2017. 91 points. #BespokeTastings
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Smokey raspberry and cherry notes with some earth and spice notes on the palate. Lots of big flavor in this great value wine. Pair with cedar planked salmon with a teriyaki glaze.
Delicate floral aromas with subtle earthy notes. On the palate, a youthful fruit expression of red berries, red plum, with a long finish of vanilla and soft tannins.

Varietal: 100% Gamay Noir
Viticulture: 100% winery-owned fruit from our vineyards in the Similkameen Valley.
