A supple, round, smooth, juicy BC Cab with surprisingly well-integrated tannins and lots of fleshy black plum and blackberry jam aromas and flavours. Pair with a pepper steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Vibrant red and black fruit on the nose with black sage herbaceousness, and baking spices. Elegant robust tannins, richly full-bodied, deeply concentrated fruit. This is a complex garnet Okanagan Valley gem with a long finish, lingering persistence of blackberry and ripe red field berry. Pairs exceptionally well with BBQ or braised AAA Angus beef. @jonsteeves rated 90/100 - tasted Sept 2016. Great value for quality.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Holy awesome BBQ red! The nose is quite attractive with ripe black fruit notes, smoke and spice. Then, after my first sip, it sealed the deal! The palate shows scrumptious acidity, young grippy tannins, loads of body and a long black plum, anise and graphite finish. This wine pairs very well with oven roasted top sirloin. It will also benefit nicely from another 5 years of aging but if you are impatien, it's also sipping well now. Tasted Sept 2016. @Sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of black fruit with flavors of plum, blackberry, spice and some black licorice. Finishes with some tight tannins that linger in the mouth. Could drink now but would benefit from a few years of cellaring.
This red blend is made up of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc. These grapes are from our best batches and the wine has been aged for 16 months. It exhibits spiced plum, black cherry, licourice, allspice, cedar, burnt toffee, and orange peel on the nose. Weighty, with grippy tannin, spicy oak, and a prolonged finish.
