Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Blended from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Frontenac Noir, aromas include raspberry, bramble bush, tobacco, leather, and smoke. Full bodied on the palate, with smooth, soft tannins, and bright, mouthwatering acidity. Fruit on the palate is vibrant and fresh, tons of blackberry and raspberry notes, and there is a hint of leather and smoke on the finish. Enjoy with rich, game meats or mushroom dishes.
From the Thompson Valley wine region in British Columbia, Monte Creek Hands Up 2017 is a red wine blend of Merlot, Marquette, Frontenac Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon, fresh, rich and mouth-filling with dark berry fruit, plum, chocolate, meaty and pepper spice flavours on the palate -- a perfect pairing to grilled bison burgers and beef long ribs. - Community Wine Reviews

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
