Melon ripe with some honey blossom on the finish. This medium-bodied, floral BC chardonnay is very fresh and has no oak aging, thus "Skinny Dip" (bare wine without any wood dressing). Pair with fresh seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The 2013 vintage of "skinny dip Chardonnay" is brilliant, straw coloured and declared at 13% ABV. Refreshing stone fruit, Mayer lemon, mandarin orange steel container, fresh sage, lime zest, hint of cooked sweet cauliflower floret. This wine is slightly off- dry, medium acidity, full-bodied, well-balanced, accessibly priced, great value and a crowd pleaser. Pairs well with lentil and sweet potato stew or roasted chicken. Enjoy 2016-2020.
The grapes were hand harvested from a small Chardonnay block in our Davenport Vineyard in Naramata. This was a cool, clean ferment in exclusively stainless steel tanks with no oak contact.
The fermentation was arrested to retain natural sugars leaving the Skinny Dip Chardonnay with a hint of sweetness on the finish.
