Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This is a stunning, beautifully balanced wine sourced from specific vineyard blocks in Osoyoos (75%) and Naramata Bench (25%) in British Columbia from a warm year (2015). Aromas of golden apple, creamy lemon, and a hints of light florals and stony minerality. Full bodied and smooth on the palate, with medium+ acidity, tons of ripe, vibrant citrus, and a creamy, smooth texture from aging on lees. The finish is lengthy but still crisp and clean. Overall, very delicious, and would be perfectly paired with grilled scallops or fresh lobster with butter and lemon.
Perpetua Chardonnay 2015 is produced by the Mission Hill Family Estate. This is the first Perpetua made from 75% Osoyoos and 25% Naramata Chardonnay wine grapes and the first produced by Darryl Brooker. A portion of the wine (30%) is fermented in concrete egg with the balanced in French oak barrel for 15 months and on its lees. This is a beautiful, creamy and fresh Chardonnay with ripe apple, butter, cedar spice and smoky on the nose, dry, full-bodied and creamy on the palate. This vintage was awarded Silver in the 2017 Gold Medal Plates Best of Show Competition in Ottawa. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
