The vines for this terrific Niagara Riesling are planted on steep slopes with excellent drainage. Crisp and juicy character. Love the lime zest and minerality in this lovely Niagara Riesling. Pair it with fresh seafood and peering at your image in a reflecting pool. Riesling is a grape that reflects the terroir and place where it's cultivated, thus the wine's name and mirror image on the label.

Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The limestone soil shines through in this wine. Orchard fruit aromas of peach and green apple along with jasmine, almond, petrol, and honey.

An off-dry Riesling that is fresh, fruit forward, and tart with flavours of Granny Smith apple, barbecued pineapple, lemon, honey and mineral notes seeping through. Delicious!

Tasted at the Taste Ontario event in April 2019.

Wine-Food Pairing: Thai or Indian curries.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I have long been a fan of the Narcissist Riesling from Megalomaniac. Vintage after vintage, it offers style, value, and accessibility in a drier-than-most package. This one is no different. Potent aromas of green apple, lime, citrus, minerality, and gentle inklings of petrol. Dry with enough sugar to offset the racy acidity. Good balance and length. Superbly food friendly. And you have to love the label. Calls for fish and chips, roast turkey, or grilled pork chops.
Megalomaniac's Narcissist (2017) is a bright and barely off-dry Riesling from the Niagara Peninsula wine region. Look for vibrant citrus notes, pear, apple and a clean minerality on the palate. This Riesling is your perfect mild curry wine. - Community Wine Reviews
