Lots of bell pepper and herbal notes, typical of some Niagara Cabernet Franc wines -- an acquired taste. Full-bodied and smooth.

Reviews and Ratings

Martin rated this wine as 81/100 with the following review:

A cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc blend with the velvety touch of merlot. Cab franc adds peppery notes and spice while the luscious ripe red fruit notes of cabernet sauvignon provide the necessary roundness and depth of flavour you crave in a full bodied red wine. Med+ tannins and Med+ acidity helps provide balance. Ideal for BBQ.
A play on the grape name, Cabernet Franc, and the owner's name John Howard whom friends accused of being a megalomaniac. Sue-Ann Staff, who owns her own winery, makes this wine in Niagara. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
