A crisp, clean, refreshing BC white wine made from Pinot Gris grapes. Aromas of lime, grapefruit and lemon zest. This is one the best-made Canadian Pinot Gris wines I've ever tasted. Pair with fresh seafood and shellfish.

Pinot Gris food pairings: pan roasted pork chops with strawberry salsa.

Reviews and Ratings

Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

The Maverick Estate Winery Pinot Gris 2014 is amazing value under $20! This wine features aromas and flavours of apple, lemon and minerality. Very refreshing! Tasted December 4, 2015 (91/100)
Classic style, with intense flavour of guava, tropical fruit, apple and green fig supported by notes of fresh lime and mineral backbone. Creamy, seamless palate with purity of fruit is completed by subtle flavours of apricot. Interesting, complex palate with refinement in its lingering aftertaste. Drink now or over the net next 3 to 5 years.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
