Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Authentic wine from the Rioja valley of Spain, the Marques del Puerto Reserva 2011 exposes delicious aromas of sour cherry, fig, mustard seed, volcanic rock, parmesan cheese, cigar box and oak. Full body with chewy tannins, the acidity is fresh and the finish is dry - perfect for pasta dish or sharp cheese. Blended from 90% Tempranillo and 10% Mazuelo, the Marques del Puerto Reserva offers succulent flavors of tart plum and cherry, dried leaves, wet gravel, tobacco, cinnamon and oak. Enjoy!

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
