Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

From Napa Valley, Cal, a barrel-fermented Chardonnay with lovely fragrances of tropical guava, ripe pineapple, vanilla and apple pie. The rich palate gives lots of tropical fruit, citrus lime, buttered toast and nutmeg. Very creamy, satiny mouthfeel with mouth-watering acidity. If you like a rich, full-bodied Chard, this is an excellent choice!
Tasted July 2016
This is a well-structured, barrel-fermented Chardonnay (2014) is layered with tropical fruit, sweet spice, buttered toast and a refreshing acidity to match. Markham has been making wine in Napa since 1879. Pair with a good book. - Community Wine Review
