Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Light garnet red, showing notes of bright red fruit, plums, leather, cedar, herbs and slight floral aspect. Pair with pasta in meat sauce, roasts, hearty meat stews.
Tasted Feb. 2019
Marchesi di Barolo 2014 Barbaresco is a medium-plus bodied dry red made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the Piedmont wine region. Garnet ruby in the glass, this is an intense red wine with wild herb, red cherries and dark plum flavours on the palate. The wine spends one year in Slovenian and French oak casks. Pair with meaty pastas, games roasts and hard cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews
