Natalie's Score: 89/100

A zesty, refreshing white with grapefruit and lime notes. No oak, lots of mouth-watering acidity, bone-dry. Medium-bodied. Frescobaldi delivers terrific wines across many price points, including this one. This is a white wine blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco, the Italian name for Pinot Blanc, and all grapes are grown on the winery's estate. Pair with shellfish.

Chardonnay Pinot Bianco food pairings: grilled herbed chicken, mushroom risotto, barbecued pork chops, seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A blend of mainly Chardonnay with Pinot Bianco makes this crisp, squeaky dry white wine very appealing. Delicate apple and white floral notes on the nose(think lily-of-the-valley), followed by fresh apple, fresh pear, slight minerality and hint of cedar on the palate. Dry with clean finish. Terrific match for grilled tuna steaks or vegetable antipasti.
