Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Fun Malivoire fact: Martin Malivoire is a retired special effects director.

Malivoire Pinot Gris is plush and opulent. Delicate and pale in colour, with an excellent rich mouthfeel that Pinot Gris gets from sitting on the skin (cold maceration). The skins sit on the free run juice (the highest quality juice acquired from extraction).
The aromas hint at the extended skin contact. Table grapes, stewed pear, lees, baking spice, guava, and muskmelon. Flavours of fuji apple, pie crust, kiwi, melon, and citrus on the palate.
The flavours are exotic, but this wine would have a very broad appeal, making it suitable for a large dinner gathering.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Refreshing peach, melon and white tree fruit aromas and flavours. Light-bodied, versatile and a sure hit at brunch.
