Apricot freshness and peach light jam. Forget Moscato d'asti: this is way better. Pair with fruit desserts or enjoy on its own.

Food pairings: spice cake, crème brûlée, fruit-based desserts, pastries, fresh field berries in cream.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Malivoire's take on Moscato d'Asti, but using Niagara Chardonnay in place. Fun, sweet, and lively, this would be a great wine to enjoy with semi-sweet dishes like stawberry shortcake, fruit parfait, or simply on its own! Tasted June 2015. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A lovely little Niagara fizz made with Chardonnay grapes. Light and lively effervescence with pretty floral, Niagara stone fruit, white cranberry and vanilla toast. The acidity is medium+ and cleanses the palate nicely. Not overly long but pleasant sweet finish. Enjoy with a dish of sorbet, fruit flan or on it's own.

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A lovelynose of tropical fruit and ripe melon. The rich palate shows tropical fruit, ripe peach, melon, vanilla and slight oak. A fun, spritzy mouthfeel and a medium ripe peach finish.
Malivoire's Chardonnay Musqué is made from a lovely aromatic grape that is related to, but not the same as Chardonnay itself. The 2014 vintage is redolent of red and white floral aromas along with some baking spice. A light fizz or effervescence makes it a great partner to blue cheeses and toasted nuts. - Community Wine Reviews
