A lovely Pinot Noir from one of Canada’s best producers of the genre. Plush, with ripe aromas of strawberries and raspberries with spice and earth. Supple and smooth. The grapes for this wine are grown in winemaker Shiraz Mottiar’s own vineyard on the Beamsville Bench and comprise 5 different clones. A lovely, long persistent finish.Pair with veal.

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Scrumptious and delicate Pinot Noir from Malivoire. Located in the Beamsville Bench. Translucently, pale and shimmering garnet with ruby coloured sparkles glinting in the glass offer an abundance of refreshing red fruit and delicate spices. With a refined, soft mouthfeel, flavours reveal cola touches, bing cherries, raspberry and chewy mouthwatering pomegranate seeds ending with restrained - yet present tannins, supple spices and fresh flowery elements. A good pairing for Gouda cheese, pork tenderloin or grilled fish. 91 points - Tasted July 2018

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
