Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous, dry, medium bodied, well balanced, mouthwatering acidity, tart cran cherry fruit, savoury, minerality with layers of complexity. Pair with beef stew. Tasted 2013 in November 2018. 92 points
From the Burgundy wine region, Maison Jessiaume Santenay 2013 is a medium-bodied Premier Cru Pinot Noir from the Côte d'Or, Côte de Beaune, Santenay, Les Gravieres. Both red and white wines can be made within the Santenay appellation, however, bout 85% of the wine produced here is red. Look for good fresh red cherry, strawberry, almond and earthy flavours on this mouth-watering PN and perfect pairing to grilled lamb shoulder chops. Jessiaume has been a Santenay domaine since 1850, when the Jessiaume family started making wine there. The 37-acre estate is now owned by David Murray, a Scottish entrepreneur. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
