Reviews and Ratings

Neil Phillips rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lustau is an always-reliable Sherry house, with a vast collection across many styles.

This dry Fino has a pronounced aroma intensity, with clear salinity, blanched almonds, thyme, candied lemon peel, white floral notes and savoury overtones (shiitake mushrooms).

Bone dry, intense salty nutty flavours follow the nose, with a bready, yeasty note from biological ageing.

Long, cleansing finish.
The non-vintage sherry, Fino Puerto Fino Solera Reserva, is redolent of almond sliver and espresso notes. This is the half bottle size. Pair it with hard cheeses and nuts. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
