Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A shade of light garnet red with an intense nose sporting aromas of red cherry, sour cherry, beet, earthy, and meaty notes. Quite tart with potent acidity. Soft tannins, very polished in nature. Palate reflects the nose while adding gentle oak and wood notes, more so in the finish than on the palate. Serve lightly chilled with chicken or pork, and tie in a red berry sauce for best results.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Despite some indications of age from the brick edge and dried fruit on the nose the palate is still fresh. Fruit has receded but leaving a dry, savoury palate. Mature tannins on medium long finish. Tasted May 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
From an iconic producer, Louis Jadot's Chorey-Les Beaune from the Burgundy wine region is rich with dark berry fruit, dark cherry garrigue herbs and pepper spice flavours on the palate. Finishes long with more dark cherry fruit. Good acidity for food. Pair with grilled game dishes. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
